It's all about the look

A swimmer’s kit is an important part of supporting their training and helping them to feel part of the team identity. We have a team uniform which is mandatory when training with our club. Uniformity is an important component of Artistic Swimming, and this is reflected in our expectations of our swimmers whenever they are attending any club event, from training to national competitions, our swimmers should be wearing the correct club kit at all times.

Training Kit

Basic kit is needed until your swimmer progresses to the Novice squad, where additional kit is required for training.

Basic kit:

Pool training - *Blue or black club costume, *club hat, goggles, *nose clips, towel, water bottle, swimming bag, sliders/flipflops and warm clothing.

We recommend a dryrobe or similar for the swimmers to wear throughout the year when they are out of the water.

Advanced kit (in addition to the basic kit above):

Pool and Stamina training - Pull buoy, float, fins, paddles, 2 x plastic 5l bottles, old leggings that can be worn in water, net bag for wet kit.

Land training - yoga mat, yoga blocks (10cm depth), *thera-bands (red or green depending on age/ability), thera-tubing, tennis ball, muscle roller.

Clothing - *club tshirt (must have the club logo), *club hoody, black leggings or black gym shorts, socks and trainers.

Grade Day kit:

Kit worn at Grade Days have to comply with specific standards set out by Swim England.

Land Figures - Black gym shorts, club tshirt, yoga mat, yoga blocks, muscle roller.

Pool Figures - Plain black swimming costume, plain white hat, *neutral coloured nose clip, goggles.

Competition kit:

Kit worn at Competitions also have to comply with standards defined by Swim England.

Warm up - yoga mat, yoga blocks, muscle roller, water bottle.

Athlete kit - *Club tshirt, *club hoody, black gym shorts, sliders, trainers, **club competition kit.

Pool kit - *blue club costume for warm up, **team costume, *neutral coloured nose clip, **hair piece.

Hair and make up - Hair and make up will be done by club staff. Swimmers will be required to provide gelatine sachets, hair grips, hair nets, hair brush, waterproof mascara and eyeliner.
