There are several competitions throughout the year open to artistic swimmers that qualify for the correct grade standard and age (based on age at 31st December):
Portsmouth Victoria Club Champs (for Novice swimmers and those who do not compete at National Age Groups)
We also have our club Summer and Winter Shows and while not a competition, they are a chance for all squads and swimmers to swim a team routine, duets and solos and experience this in preparation for competitions.
South East Regional Novice Competition - Figures Competition for Grade 0 (those working towards Grade 1) and Grade 1 swimmers only.
South East Regional Routine Competition - Team, Duets and Solos competition.
South East Regional Age Groups Competition- A ‘warm-up’ competition for those attending National Age Groups. Figures, Team, Duet and Solo.
Hampshire Hill Trophy – Competition for Figures only.

National Age Groups (known as NAGs) – This competition is for those swimmers who are both the correct age (9 to 15) and have achieved a high enough standard in grades to qualify to compete. This is a two-day event, with the best young swimmers nationally competing in Figures, Team, Duets and Solos.
National Championships (known as Champs) - This competition is for those who are both the correct age (15+) and have achieved a high enough standard in grades to qualify to compete. This is a two-day event, where swimmers compete with Free Teams, Technical Teams, Acrobatic Teams, Duets and Solos.
Combo Cup - This is a competition for those who are both the correct age (9+) and have achieved the correct grades to compete. This is for swimmers who are of Regional standard and below. This is a one-day event, (followed by the Artistic Swimming Masters Competition) that is for Team ‘Combo’ Routines.
The club have a stock of specialist artistic swimming team costumes that are provided to swimmers competing in teams across all competitions.
