Mel, the winner of ‘Inspirational Women of Portsmouth Awards’
Our Head Coach, Mel was recently the winner of ‘Inspirational Women of Portsmouth Awards’ in the Sports category for her outstanding dedication to sport within the Portsmouth Area.
The 2024 Inspirational Women of Portsmouth Awards was a black-tie ceremony that took place on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Guildhall Portsmouth. The event celebrated women who have made a positive impact on their community.
The event raised money for Endometriosis South Coast, a local charity that supports women with Endometriosis and Adenomyosis. A percentage of each ticket sale was donated to the charity.
The event is unique in that it celebrates "Award recipients" and not "winners". Local businesses are invited to sponsor the event, and sponsors can gain visibility among a diverse audience.
